Here, we want the customers to get a modern and flexible solution at a reasonable cost and thereby draw maximum value from their investment”, says Gert Jösok, who in December 2019 started as the CEO of AriVislanda.
This company that is very competent, carries out most of its operations in its own premises in Vislanda Sweden, from design and product development to production and assembling.
“We provide equipment for processing logs into finished boards and planks that the sawmills later sell to the construction industry and other industries. Some of our advantages is that we, with the help of skewing technology, profile side boards directly on the log without the need for a board edger and that we can curve-saw and full-optimise our machines, all for the best timber yield”.
Their customers consist of large and small sawmills all over the world. The Nordic region is a strong home market, but they also have many customers in the rest of Europe, Russia, Australia, South America, etc.
Largely seen, everything that the company manufactures is custom-made.
“Our skilled project salesmen find out the customer’s needs and together with our R&D department and project management, we offer the best possible solution for that customer. We assist the customer from need to finished installation and then our aftermarket takes over and support the customer for decades to come”.
More than thirty employees work in the company, and most of them have extensive experience in the company.
