It all started with a friendship between two colleagues in the industry. Tobias had worked for 14 years in the field when he met Houssein who started Sweden Limousine Service 15 years ago.
“It felt natural to take the next step together, we realized that we wanted the same things and that we trusted each other,” Tobias recalls. “That trust kept growing, and we soon understood that together, we could create something better.”
At the same time, Houssein was already on his path. At 21, he was studying to become a pilot but got hooked on the taxi profession through a friend.
“It was important to keep the car spotless, dress well, and master the service beyond just the driving,” he says. Before long, he was headhunted by a limousine company.
“Tailored suits, high-profile clients, luxury cars – it was a perfect match for me. After six months, I bought my own car and went all in.” When the company he worked for was sold, it became the spark for his own entrepreneurial journey.
So how did Sweden Limousine Service AB become Sweden’s most luxurious way to travel from A to B? Today, the company has built something as rare as a fleet worthy of Hollywood – Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, Rolls-Royce Ghost, plus sleek electric vehicles like the BMW i7 M70 and Mercedes-EQS SUV – all chosen to embody comfort, elegance, and the future.
But Sweden Limousine is not just about the cars. It’s about the feeling when the chauffeur, always in a suit, greets you at the door.
“We’ve always loved service and cars – here we get both worlds,” Tobias explains. He describes their in-house training: “Practical and theoretical – everything from guest discretion to driving style, how to pick up at private jet terminals, and which selected restaurants and experience companies we partner with.”
Since 2010, they’ve handled weddings, airport transfers, sightseeing, and point-to-point services. Their new Connoisseur Experience takes it a step further: a helicopter ride over the archipelago, lunch aboard a yacht, VIP bookings at top restaurants – all arranged through the network they’ve built.
Their clientele? Diplomats, entrepreneurs, actors, international artists – and increasingly, Swedes who are discovering everyday luxury. And it’s not always about flashy displays – it’s about exclusive care.
Their customer list is as diverse as their fleet. Artists, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and actors from every corner of the world have taken a seat in their cars. At the same time, Swedish interest is growing.
“It’s still not as common here, but we notice more and more people wanting to treat themselves to this kind of experience,” says Ali who has been in the company now for 8 years.
Expansion is on the agenda - from Europe to Dubai, the next destination is set. Ali, now a partner and brother to Houssein, has been offered a long-term role as a private chauffeur for a family in Switzerland – living proof that their work is no longer limited to Sweden but is beginning to write international chapters. And they’re not slowing down. The company keeps refining its concept so that every journey becomes a tailored story – one of safety, elegance, and discretion.
