Aladin’s passion for IT runs deep, starting when he first laid eyes on a computer. Curiosity sparked, questions flooded his mind: Why does the mouse cursor move? What’s happening behind the screen when I click that icon? These were the questions that ignited a lifelong fascination with technology.
A Lifelong Journey Begins
Those early questions sent Aladin on a journey that continues to this day.
- This fascination has been the thread running through my entire life, Aladin reflects.
From high school studies focused on technology to pursuing computer engineering at LTH and landing a job as a system developer, the path seemed clear. But the spark that ignited the creation of Intensive Code didn’t come until later — thanks to two friends.
Where Two Passions Collide
- It all started when two of my friends wanted to learn how to code and asked if I could teach them, Aladin recalls. It was an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Alongside his love for IT, Aladin always had a knack for mentorship. “I’m the eldest sibling, so I’ve always helped my younger siblings with their homework, explaining things to them. Watching them grow and develop has always been incredibly rewarding for me.”
“You Should Teach More People!”
Aladin’s passion for teaching took over. He crafted a rigorous learning plan for his friends, and soon enough, the results spoke for themselves. One of them landed a job as a system developer after just nine months. That’s when the friends had a realization: More people could benefit from learning how to code from Aladin.
- They told me there had to be tons of people who want to become system developers and encouraged me to help more, he says.
The Birth of an Intensive, Online Program
That’s how Intensive Code was born — a fast-paced, nationwide training program for aspiring system developers, taught entirely in Swedish and delivered online. The program runs 20 hours a week for six months, and though the pace is intense, the payoff is huge. Intensive Code is tailored to people looking to change careers or upskill while juggling other commitments like work or studies.
With just two scheduled hours each week, students have the freedom to organize the rest of their study time around their lives. It’s flexible enough for them to keep financial stability while diving headfirst into their new IT career. And even if they can’t make the live sessions, everything is recorded and available afterward.
From Beginner to Job-Ready in Six Months
In just six months, students go from having zero experience in coding to being job-ready system developers or programmers. How? The course balances recorded lectures, theoretical exams, and, most importantly, hands-on coding. The practical side is crucial, says Aladin.
“Our course is built for people who’ve never even seen a line of code before, and let me tell you — there are no shortcuts! The only way to learn programming is by actually programming. I always tell my students that they can sit through every lecture, but without doing the practical exercises, they won’t become programmers. It’s all about that back-and-forth between theory and practice. Understand a little, apply it, learn a bit more, apply again — that’s the rhythm.”
Experienced Mentors, Real-World Skills
Throughout their journey, students are guided by experienced mentors — seasoned system developers who know the ins and outs of the job.
- We mentors break down the practical tasks step-by-step, showing students the solution and explaining our thought process, says Aladin.
This gives students a window into how seasoned professionals approach problems, making it easier for them to absorb not just the theory but the mindset and methods required in the field. It’s how they get job-ready, fast.
Why System Development and Programming are Smart Career Moves
It’s this hands-on, workplace-oriented approach that makes Intensive Code so successful. From day one, students work on real-world coding tasks that set them up for the challenges they’ll face in their future careers.
A Versatile Career with Endless Possibilities
What’s more, a career in system development can take you almost anywhere. The possibilities are endless. IT skills are highly sought after in practically every industry.
“The beauty of IT is that it’s not just one industry,” Aladin explains. “It’s a skillset you can combine with countless fields. If you’re into economics, you can dive into fintech. In medicine, there’s medtech. Lawyers can explore legal tech. It’s easy to blend IT with your background or passion and carve out a unique career path.”
